というところだ — “about, roughly; that's about the size of it”
Gives a rough, modest estimate — often implying "not more than that"
Noun/quantity + というところだ gives an approximate figure or summarizes a situation modestly — “it's about X” or “that's roughly the situation.” It often carries a slight undertone of “and that's really as much as I can say/it amounts to.”
