Grammar › Emphasis & Exclusivity
からある — “as much as, no less than”
Emphasizes that a quantity is impressively large, at minimum
A number/quantity + からある emphasizes that an amount is substantial — “as much as X” or “a full X” — framing the number itself as impressively large. からする is the equivalent used specifically for prices (“costing as much as X”).
How to form it

|---|---|
| Quantity + からある | 100キロからある荷物 — luggage weighing a full 100 kilograms |

Watch out
からある needs a genuinely large, impressive quantity to make sense — using it for a small, unremarkable number reads oddly, since the whole point of the pattern is to signal “and that's a lot.”
